Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication hugh mistake after 28 years

My husband was caught under the influence of pcp after 28 years of being clean and sober he lost 2 good friends back to back. he has a attorney but according to her she needs time of see of she get get him out with a statue of limitations. My husband is ready for what ever the court decides. I just don't want his attorney to keep delaying because its so expensive and we wants it over. What is your recommendations??

what do you think his chances are in court? can it be settled on friday thats when he goes back to court with his attorney. We just want a end to it.
