i changed out hvac system in feb 2014, made few trips out after to satisfy customer when they called, in july on a saturday evening they called and said cooling wasnt working, i told them i would be there on monday, i was refused, was told not to come they called someone else, now they want to sue me, i was refused to hold up my end, i did give them 1 yr, warranty on installation of unit, but what can i do now, again i was refused to come out and check it.

If they sue you, you have two choices.
You show up and defend.
You'll have a chance to tell your side to the judge.
If you don't show up, they'll get a default verdict, you'll lose, they'll come around trying to collect their judgment.

It's out of your hands, other than to defend yourself if sued.
Otherwise, not much left for you to do.
