How do you regain ownership of your finances and guardianship of yourself, if you singed a POA and gave-up your rights voluntairy, without the preceeding being explained to you. I was found incompitant after my automobile accident case went through count and I won several million dollars. I haven't been tested again since 2001. And, I feel like the main reason I am so powerless is for that reason. What do you think? What can be done to regain my independance? Please, send your very descriptive!

If you were not adjudicated to be mentally incompetent, you can simply revoke the POA that you claim to have given someone.
I suggest you contact an attorney you can trust and seek his or her guidance. If you had diminished capacity at one point, you might not be fully aware as to how you ended up in this position.

I would agree with you on that account army judge... POA can be revoked...consult a lawyer immediately
