i dont have signed lease

i rented a home in punta gorda fl and the tenants they were suppose to sign then send back for us to sign they never signed and returned the lease they paid for 2 months now they havent paid in 3 months changed tel number cant get ahold of them ,so the bottom line is there is no lease what can i do call cops theres squatters living in house or any ideas

At this point this means nothing. You have reason to take action which would be eviction. Failure to pay rent for several months. It should not have gone past one month but regardless. Follow your states guidelines for eviction then during this eviction process and possible trial seek rent for duration of lease or until you rerent dwelling. Them not returning signed lease may mean nothing
