Its always good to have a lawyer instead of trying to defend yourself. If you did not know your license was suspended you should be alright since you took care of the old ticket that caused the suspension right away. That said a lawyer can usually get a better outcome then trying to defend yourself. Good luck.

More than likely not, if that is all they allege you did.

You can bring your proof to the court and they'll probably dismiss the citation on the spot.

Give them a call and tell them what you've done to fix the problem.

Then ask them where to bring the proof.

When you get there, ask them does this take care of everything?

Be sure to get a note or something in writing, otherwise you'll get another FTA.
