Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft i got caught stealing from walmart, how much is the fine?

recentlly I was with a friend at walmart, we try to shoplift, but we were caught. There was no police involved, they just told us that they were going to send a letter with a fine. the amount of the item was 3.50 and it was the 1st offense so can someone help me telling me how much would i need to pay aprox. thank you

My guess (its only a guess) your Civil Demand request will be between $50.00 to $100.00
