Hello, I had t a debt collection default judgment and my wages were garnished in 2008. I made a few payments and then I spent 5 years i jail. I did not make any payments since October 2008 up to now. i just received a letter from a law firm saying that the debt was referred to them by Cavalry( creditor). The original creditor was HSBC. What can i do in this case? can i beat it?
