I had my case set to adjudication withheld - what can i do?

I had my case set to adjudication withheld.

I finished probation and took care of everything over 6 months ago.

My lawyer told me that my charges were dropped... but apparently that's not true(my lawyer was terrible).

What can I do to clear my record clean?
Will getting the record expunge really do anything?

Only a full pardon from your governor will wash away this stain
Otherwise, nothing can cleanse it, nothing.
Your lawyer kept your law breaking carcass out of jail or prison. That's a pretty good outcome. A better outcome, don't break their laws.
