Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I have court tomorrow morning help me. im scared.

I gave a huge discount to a friend from a retail store and got caught. Well I let him walk out with the merchandise. I have court tomorrow morning and I am afraid. By reading these post I have learned much but I feel I dont have time to look for a lawyer. I signed a promisory note, acknowledgement letter, but I agreed with the LP manager that I would return the stuff. I did the same day and last week I got a letter that asked me to show up in court. I was never aware of that the police were involved. This is my first offense....

Plead not guilty and ask for time to get a lawyer. This will result in new court date and give you the time you require to hire an Attorney

wow...same situation like my friend. hey did they hunt your friend too??? i'm wondering cz i'm in a situation as ur friend (the discountee) like the admin say that i am so naive to take some chances. pls keep as updated. thanks

i hope god will forgive u and give u another chance..i know u just want to help your friend....but we all learn our lesson.
