I had a ticket about 2-3 months ago for speeding and they placed me on court supervision,
today i was driving on a four lane road and i was in the left lane and there was a school bus in the right lane, we just got done going over the rail road tracks so i figured that they still had the yellow flashing lights on because we just went over the tracks, well i look down and turn up the radio and i look up and the stop sign on the bus is out, i was going the speed limit which is 30mph, (forgot to mention this is a VERY conjested area) and i had no time to slow down and i went right through the stop sign, and i cop passed me right when this happened, i didnt want to slam on my brakes and cause a huge crash. so to make a long story short i got the ticket for illegal passing of school bus. i called my lawyer immediatly to ask him what to do, so he is going to ask for the ticket to be dropped to a regular speeding ticket. what are the chances of this happening???? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL! thanks
