I need an answer super quick if possible

I want to know if I can be prosecuted for doing something illegal at my place of employment if I am just following orders. I know of a company that got shut down by the EPA for diluting their wastewater from their plant, and people were fined and sentenced to jail time. So, should I turn the place I work at in for asking me to do the same thing? Or am I covered because I am only doing as I was told?
