So i was just caught shoplifting today at a local Wal-mart. I live in the State of WA as i was caught though embarrassed as i was i kept trying to pull away because i had someone on the phone with me and was freaked out so i was also charged with resisting. I am 17. I took a total of 55 dollars worth of merchandise and the police did come. They read my rights wrote a ticket and then let me go because the worker did not want to press further charges for the resisting. What is going to happen after court and what is my best approach because i need this off of my records? i am already hurting because of my grades and can't afford this to. I am more embarrassed and ashamed than i have ever been and will do absolutely anything to clear this up, because i want to join the military? Please help me with some info
