Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I Need Help.

Hia. I am 14 and me and 4 friends went into a major retailer and stole some PC copes of MW2. We threw the cases in the garbage can in the washroom and threw lots of toliet paper over it to hide it. We got away fine and i think we hid if from the cameras. Anyways i got home instaled the game and used the cd key. I know it was dumb to steal it but i cant really return it now if i used the cd key! I feel really bad and i don't know what to do. Will i get caught?? I want to return it but i don't think i can without them catching me!

Whether or not you get caught is hard to say. If they have evidence of theft and can ID you then yes. If they have evidence of theft and see you back in store they can arrest you. Its not possible to say what they know and what they dont. At this point I would not return and cross your fingers the next knock on your door isnt Police

one last thing. The mall where the store is located is like 5 mins away from my school. Is it possable for them to find out who it is and grab me from school? I was also in my school uniform when i stole the item.

Then what do i do?! I cant keep looking over my back for 2 years! If they catch me what are some of the concequences? good and bad! I am from Ontario Canada by the way.

Well knowing you are from up North would have helped earlier. The statute of limitations is possibly different. I cant say. I can tell you this though until it runs out yes you need to look over your shoulder. Now to ease your mind once a month has gone by the likihood of being contacted by Police is very low

Okay well i have another week of school then i have christmas break. Do you think i will be fine after that? Also what about my friends what if they get caught?

If friends are caught your chances of being caught go way up! No one here can give you the answers you want. I realize your scared (thats good) but we cannot say yes or no you will be contacted by Police over this

Its possible they found the boxes in the bathroom, went over video, and saw you and your friends enter witht he games and exit without them.
So odds are they have your pictures and could just wait till you come back in to arrest you or turned the video over to the police and if police see you and recognize you, might pick you up.
If your friends get caught, expect them to give up your name.

If I were you, I wouldn't go back to the store/mall.
