i need my dog back

please someone tell me what i can do if anything, i am so discusted and sad.. i havent cried this much since my grandma died. i made a huge mistake. my husband and i decided that we had too many pets. we have 5 children so pets are something we are very use to. but we wanted to down size so, we placed an ad in the newspaper,Dog for sale. we sold our dog . and not more than 4 hours ago. i have been crying ever since. i miss him so much and my son and i are heart broken. we called the people who bought him and we pleaded with them explaining how much we love and miss him and how we made a mistake. we offered them more money than they paid for him including the gas money for their trouble and for the food, treats, toys, ect. they said that they have already become attached to him and will not give him back.i was so sincere and was actually crying on the phone. is there anything at all that i can do to get him back?

Well unfortunately I don't see how you can get the dog back. The dog is rightfully theirs.

I am sorry you are upset but you have 5 kids and it seems like all the animals you are a little overwhelmed. The dog is likely in a loving home if they don't want to give him back. Maybe the new owners will have a change of heart and contact you about buying the dog back but I would focus on your children for now.
