I bought a drink and sandwich at Mc Don. and bit down on a piece of ice which contained an arrow head shaped piece of plastic in it from their ice machine. The plastic tore through the stiches I had in my mouth from the bone graph surgery I had 6 weeks ago to prepare my jaw for a dental implant. It lodged in my jaw bone through the opening and dislodged the bone graph pieces I had implanted. My dentist said I have to have a cat scan in 2 weeks to see if the bone harvest and graph has to be redone when the swelling goes down and the remainding bone particals heal back again. Mc Don. called me today to talk about a cash settlement because they have to sign their new insurance policy and they may not want to put in the claim which will increase their insurance cost. I need legal advise.

You need to speak with a REAL personal injury attorney in (or near) your hometown.
You appear to have the basis for a very good personal injury lawsuit.
You should not agree to anything until your medical problems have ALL been assessed.
Your attorney will advise you accordingly, after you have selected one.
In the interim, if the restaurant (or their agent) contacts you again, advise them that YOUR attorney will be contacting them.
Tell them under advice of your attorney, they are NOT to contact you again.
What you do not want to do is agree to any settlement (without the benefit of counsel).
There is no need to rush anything at this time.
You are gonna be surprised at how much you'll eventually get for this little incident. ;)
But, you wanna make sure you are medically sound before agreeing to or doing anything!
