I had sex with a 17 year old male 15 years ago. I was 22. I had a child out of the also. I am being threatened now that charges are going to be filed if I don't comply with what he wants. It is not the person I had sex with but someone who knew that I did it. And has known the whole time. Can I get arrested. I am in AZ.

Most states have a statute of limitations for the period of time that abuse/molestation charges can be brought, for instance in Pennsylvania, it is 4 years after the child reaches 18. The chances of anyone being able to bring charges after 15 years are pretty slim, especially when they were not involved and what proof would they have other than talk?

The proof is the child but I agree 15 years later is slim chance of prosecution
Probably not. I am in AZ but I do not know the statute of limitations but I did find this, not sue how accurate it is but there may not be a SOL
