My husband threw our 4 year old and I out of our apartment on the 3rd of August 2008. We really didn't have anywhere to go. We stayed in a hotel for a few nights and with my parents for a few nights also. I just received a letter at my mother's house from him, not a lawyer or notarized, that stated that I have no right to be on the property. I am not licensed or privileged to enter or remain at our apartment address. My name is still on the lease. I still have property there and everything. Can my landlord remove me from the lease without my knowledge and can he legally do this? He said he would prosecute me for defiant trespass or any other laws that are available to me. We are still legally married and have a child together. I live in Lancaster, PA. Any information about this would greatly help.

No. Your husband is ridiculous and he has no legal right to keep you from the property. If he does, call the police. You have just as many rights to be there. If you want to go retrieve your property, see if the police can escort you but you legally can still live there.
