I deliver gasoline for a living. I am often expected to hual over wieght loads and speed from pick up origin to destination b4 the station runs out of product. I also have been told to run over my hours of service restrictions from time to time. have been told to put regular gas that wouldnt fit into a higher octane tank such as a premium tank. wich I know for sure is illegal. recently I delivered a couple loads on 2 different occations that wouldnt fit was told to deliver anyway and keep an eye on it. the result was spilled gas on the ground. the clean up took 2+ hrs. reportable spills are I think 5 or 10 gallons. mine was atleast 15 or so gallons both times I was told not to report it to just clean it up and get outa there. so I quit after the last spill. filed 4 unemployment and my co. is contesting the claim. do I have a leg to stand on here? wut are my rights? Can unemployment deny me even tho I was told to do illegal things?

Every state has their own laws about when you can quit and get unemployment and when you can't. You did not name your state. However, if (as an example) your state requires that you make an effort to resolve the situation internally before you quit, then yes, they could deny you even if you were told to do something illegal.

In other words, without knowing more details and your state, we can't say if you can be denied or not.
