A week ago me and 4 friends got caught stealing from (retail store) this is what happened. Igot out of summer school at 2 I got a call from my friend and he said that there at the mall already so I walk to the mall and go straight to the bathroom as I leave the bathroom I see my friend (friend 2) he shows me the stuff he stole and was like "lets get more" and we go and get another friend (friend1) and walk towards (retail store), we step inside and go straight for the bowties. I grab 3bowties and the others grabed some. On our way out the store I noticed people were running after us so we stop and walked towards them, the took us to this room and made us take out all of the stuff and counted the amount of money each of us stole mine was $90 friend1 had $200 and friend 2 had $400 worth of stuff. Theres was a lot because they stole before I got to the mall. We were questioned and the security asked about the two girls that my friends were with but I wasn't. The police was called cause of the amount that was stolen. I wasn't tooken to the station but my friends we're. They found the 2 girls and there amount was 70 each because it was my friends stuff they were also taken to the station. We all are 15
I don't have money for a lawyer so what will happen to me?
Will I go to jail

We do not know what you were charged with. What is clear is you operated as part of a theft ring. You will likely be prosecuted hard. Consult a lawyer or request a PD if you are eligible in your state.

Have your parents get you a lawyer.

Unlikely you will go to jail but they could charge you with a felony. You need to consult a Lawyer and discuss your options ask about ACD or Diversion as plea option.

If you have a clear record you will likely come out of this with a low level misdemeanor that can be wiped away when you get a little older
There is absolutely nothing for you to do other than stop stealing and obey your parents.
Your parents will sort everything out and the court will decide what to do with you. You will have very little input in the entire thing. You should expect probation and some kind of community service work. Your parents will have to pay some fines for your behavior.
If you haven't told mom and dad yet, you better break the news before they find out from someone else

Well, you must tell your parents immediately.

If the police spoke to you without mommy and daddy present, you just might get a pass.

Get mammy and pappy involved, and tell them what happened.

They can get the court to appoint them a lawyer. If things are EXACTLY like you say, a lawyer will describe how this will be cleansed. The others, if they're juvies, too, might also be purified. Tell them to have their caregivers to get lawyers or ask for court appointed lawyers.

In the meantime, stay away from the mall.
