Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I stole 128 dollars from Wal-mart

I work there for 4 -5 moths. and when i was working there i used to take chicken and some other food from the deli. Today the pull us to the office and the had us in camera and the call the cops.
they say we took 128 dollars over 2 moths... we got fire and the call the cops... the cop came and got me and just took me out from the store... he said to go home... that i was not going to jail.... and that he had to give the paper work to the court for a court date and a time for me to show up in court. that was if wal-mart persecuted m sure the will so my question is what will happen to me when the do? i live in Indiana.

should i get a lawyer? what do you think will happen... i dont really want to tell my parents but i think i will have to im 19 i dont live with them but they are the closes thing i have to help me. and i have my own apartment .. can i still be looking for a job..? because i need one to pay rent.

Yes you need a Lawyer this is a felony in your state! You are facing very serious charges and could wind up in jail. Even without jail any future scholarships, jobs etc could be harmed by a conviction
