I recently was terminated for missing cash cards. The cards were in my possession but thier were two other people in the store both whom were managment that possibly had access to them as well. Camera system is crappy. I feel I was set up because this past year I found out my store manager was a registered sex offender and told my fellow female coworkers about it only for safety and awareness reasons because most of us are female. I hope you can tell me if i possibly would have a case against my company because I am not a theif and have a family to care for. I am a criminal justice major as well and would hate for this to ruin my future carreer plans. Also, I had not left the premises at all after the incident and volunteered to be searched or requested the police to be called. Management rejected the idea leaving me more to believe they were hiding something. Please get back with me on this issue asap.

Sorry, but this is not an illegal termination. You can be fired on suspicion, and if you had the missing cards in your possession they had more than suspicion to go on. Additionally, a wrongful termination means that you were fired for a reason prohibited by law, not that you were fired for something you didn't do. Nothing in your post gives you a basis for any kind of lawsuit against your employer.
