I was assaulted by to co-workers in parking lot of job and all three of us fired. they have been re-hired! is that discrimination? i have been witness to quite a few policy violations including drinking at the workplace by boss, miss-handling of money such as under the table payments and/or trades for services. not to mention a very hostile environment. i mean even as far as my boss having affair with one of her employees...

If you were physically assaulted, I suggest you contact the police and file a report.

That, however, has nothing to do with you being terminated.

If you believe it does, hire an attorney to pursue any remedies you think you have.

No, that is not even close to illegal discrimination. Particularly since you were rehired...if you had been fired and not rehired it would still not have been discrimination, nor would it have been illegal. You have a job - no court or regulatory agency is going to care that you were fired first.

The term, hostile work environment, has a very specific meaning in law, and what you have described does not meet it.

Policy violations are not illegal, unless the policies are in effect to ensure the compliance of a law.

You always have the option of filing a police report about the assault.
