Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I wasnt caught but will they come after me?

Yesterday I went into a store and i stole a pair of boots. I put them on my feet and I didnt take them off. I don't need to be told what I did was wrong because I know it and I feel awful and so guilty. I went to the cashier and i bought a wallet. She asked if i had a rewards card and I have one but it wasnt on me so i gave her my number to look up and she did. Then I left and no alarm went off no one followed me, nothing. Now, in addition to feeling horrible for taking something that i didn't pay for, I am paranoid that when the people from the store find the empty shoe box, will they review their security tapes and track me down? I feel like they will see me on the tape and then be able to find me because the cashier looked up my rewards card. I paid in cash if that makes a difference and Im 17 and I have never gotten in trouble for anything before.
 
If you read through many of the post here you will see countless issues like yours. To save time I will tell you what we told others. No one can say for certain if store will find out and send Police to your house. However for the store to review tape of the entire day just to "maybe" see footage of a theft is far reaching. The chances ar elow they will see you stole and take action. YOu can though if your feeling guilty is go back to store and pay for the boots
