Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Identity Theft

I recvd a call from an officer in reference to an incident tht he states involves me, I dont know the victim, but because I have a record he automatically assumes its me. He stated that the victim doesnt want to press charges, but I dont know what to do from this point, I have been more than cooperative, and upfront with him. What am I to expect?

That's all very vague.

I would expect that, if the alleged victim doesn't want to press charges, the cop will close the book on this and that's the last you'll hear of it.
