If a state fails to extradite, is that grounds for a speedy trial violation?

I recently flew to OR from TN and turned myself in on a 20 year old warrant for UUMV. after being OR'ed by the judge and receiving a public defender, my attorney has stated that because I was in jail or incarcerated after the warrant was issued and the state failed to extradite me on several occasions, they are in violation of my 6th amendment civil rights.. can anyone explain this? and what chance do I have of OR dismissing these charges after 20 years?

You need to discuss this with YOUR attorney.

You may be recollecting YOUR attorney's statements incorrectly.

I suggest you make a serious effort to speak with your attorney and ask HIM or HER for an explanation of ALL things you fail to fully comprehend.

Anything someone on this forum someone might say might not be totally correct.

Please, have that conversation with YOUR attorney.
