My husband and I have just received a civil action hearing notice , the creditor-Beneficial-filed this action on August 8, the hearing is for September 7, we live in Pennsylvania, and my main concern is this appearing on our credit report, if we pay this in full at the time of the hearing, will this still be on our credit report? is there any way to avoid this judgement? Our full intention here is to pay our debt, as soon as possible-the balance is 1443.79 plus 336.32 in interest-what can we expect for court costs, etc.? Thanks for any help!

If you paid it in full before the hearing, then the lawsuit will be dismissed.

The dismissed lawsuit will be on your credit report.

In fact, it is public information.
