can a tyrannical homeowners association tow my car if it was in compliance with their rules and regulations? if not, what can i Legally do, as they do not respond to anything less, to be compensated for the towing cost?

Well there wouldn't be much point in being a tyranny if they couldn't run roughshod over your rights, now would there? :)

Are you certain you're not in violation of any rules that would permit them to tow? What does the HOA say? Legally, your options for recovery may be limited to by your HOA agreement. Have a close read of it. You might be able to take the HOA to small claims court.

the HOA gave a pamphlet to the homeowner which included parking rules. they state that a visitor must be parked in the designated visitor parking area and have a visitor pass in the front windsheild. it continues to stipulate that a visitor cannot be parked in the visitor area for more than ten consecutive days. i had a parking pass for the 28th of this month to the first of november when i was towed.

If you're sure you were parked legit, you need to see what the HOA says about recovery.
