Hi, I am currently wanting a Illinois FOID card. Right now I am 20 years old. When I 17 I was arrested for Battery and criminal destruction of property. I never saw a court room or anything. I was brought to a behavioral center imediatly after arrest. After about a week I was released. I went there the peer jury at my local station and did community service and that was it. The detective says its on my juvenile record. I havent had a problem getting jobs so far. So now that I am all straighted out I want my FOID card. I know it asks if you were ever convicted of a crime as a juvenile. Do I have to answer yes? I havent expunged my record yet. If I apply for my FOID card what are the chances of getting approved/denied?
