I own and am only employee for STUFF IT Macon MObile Storage. I rent 16' mobile containers (think PODS). I rented 4 to a man opening a restaurant. Once the dit opened, he took me to another site he had rented to put the 4 containers. I did so.

Today a friend saw my 4 containers across town at a tow cpy lot. THe tow cpy said I owed $ 350 per container for pickup and $50 per day per container since Sat. He said he called the number on the side of the container Tuesday and no one answered. I do not show a call from him. He said the real estate agent told him to tow them. The real estate says the restaurant man's check bounced, admits he did not call me or try to call the number on the side and "did not give one thought to who owned the containers". He says he did not have to call me and he was well within his rights and has abandoned trailors towed all the time. I have 13 steps i must follow including certified letter to "impound/sell/ move a nonpaying rentor's things. Does real estate impounding have any such protocol?
