In CA, Landlord refunding tenant security deposit; sending receipts: is the $126 or less law for ALL deductions or for each?
Here is the law on refunds: (I cant post urls so search google for "catenant.pdf" and it will link to the document.
see page 54 bottom of 2nd column about the $126
"the landlord is not required to send you copies copy of the invoice or receipt or a good faith estimate, if the repairs or cleaning cost less than $126 or if you waive your right to receive them.223"
But I cannot see where it specifies this as being $126 for each repair/problem or $126 for all deductions together?
