You don't give enough information to address the question. Is there any order from a court forbidding a parent from removing the kids from the county or state?
Is the move permanent or a weekend trip?

Leave the state for what purpose? If you intend to take children far enough it effects the current parenting order you could lose custody but should not be criminal. You cannot on your own decide the other parent gets less time with child and moving would do that

You said there is a parenting order so I assume this is a court order. It will have to be followed. You didn't give many details.

Generally, violating a parenting order does not rise to the level of a criminal charge the FIRST couple of times.
A persistent or serial violator can get himself or herself into criminal difficulties.
Otherwise, its always back to the judge that issued the order to redress the concern.
Final note: Its just silly and idiotic to violate any court order. Its sheer stupidity to serially violate or disobey any court order.

Never try to fight the law in or out of its house, unless you KNOW the rules.
