my brother owes child support and is expecting money from the sale of property, to prevent his share of money going to child support he is planning to have the executor of the estate write the check in his 5yr old sons name has this ever been done before?

Sounds weird to me-- The 5 yr old son will have to endorse it?? Unless he is putting all of the $$ in a trust or a savings for the son-- otherwise the check will be a piece of paper-- unless he forges his son's name-- That's not a good idea--
