Income execution rights

I had recieved an income execution from the Sheriff's Dept stating they were going to begin garnishing my wages...make a long story short, the company never properly served me and has added more than double the original debt amount to the amount they are seeking. I have written to the company and stated that they made several mistakes (not being properly served, the amount owed, the amount I earn, etc.). I was told by someone to go down to the courts and file an order to show cause with temp. restraining order. So I began that process and also wrote to the company stating the facts. I started the paperwork and was unable to complete it due to the high filing fees. The company wrote me back and tried to put their burden on me by trying to make me prove my address from 2006...I don't have a way to prove where I lived 2006, that was 6 years ago! This week when I opened my paycheck I see that they began the garnishment. The amount they are taking is ridiculous. I could be driving a brand new car for the amount they are taking!! Is there anything I can do? I was already struggling to pay my bills, now with them taking $90 a week from my check I am going to be unable to live...I already do not have cable and am behind on my rent and car payment (just got a letter from both gas and light co that I'm gonna be turned off) I am devistated. I don't have a parent or anyone to fall back on, nor do I want to have to move or sell my car. There has to be something that can be done...HELP!!

It might be time to discuss bankruptcy and a fresh start.

You can consult a bankruptcy attorney in your area for free.

Call one, make an appointment, and learn how a bankruptcy can help you.

Or, go back to court and file those papers as an indigent.

Google it.
