a friend of mine got out of being arrested by agreeing to be a drug informant. Remind you he was never put under arrest and was never booked into a jail. this was over a month ago . the police were gonna arrest him for posession of 1/2 lb of pot and small amount of both coke and speed. but they let him go. can the cops hold anything against him if he stops doing what they ask. cause they keep saying to him were gonn have to turn your casae back over to the da. But their is no case he was never arrested. is this making any sence to anyone. please advise. thanks
