Injured on landlords property

I rent a single family home from my landlord. I went to go out the back door and slipped and fell on the wooden steps outside the sliding glass door. Ice had formed on the wooden steps (clear ice could not see it) and my feet went from underneath me and I severly injured my tailbone which required an E/R visit and two follow up appoints to a Doctor. I am out $3 ,000. Does my landlords insurance police cover for medical bill reimbursement (med pay coverage) which is seperate from liability coverage? Renters policy only covers my visitors and not me.
