SO my boyfriend fell off the bunk while incarserated in Solano County Jail, CA. He broke his jaw and now needs surgery. He is waiting for sentencing, but is trying to waive time-- we heard that if you are injured- and need surgery that it has to be performed in the facility where the injury happened. . . Basically that he cannot be sent to a CDC until his health is corrected--is this true-- we were looking at penal code- 4000-4030. But just ended up very confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .
