Hello,
I understand that in NC there are two types of points assigned for speed infractions: Traffic and Insurance.
I also understand that if you receive say 2 traffic points but no insurance points, my insurance, in this instance, will not increase.
Question: Cannot the insurance company check my driving record and discover the two traffic points and then raise my insurance premium accordingly?
Or, is there a procedural safe guard to prevent this from occuring?
Thanks in advance.
