I've known this guy around my neighborhood since the 3rd grade. Now he's 19 and I am 17 going on 18 in August. He has been posting facebook comments about me calling me names such as "whore" and "slut". I had told him to stop repeatedly and he posted again on facebook that if I didnt shut up, he would smack me. I copied and pasted the threat and all the comments that he continued to send calling me names and emailed them to myself. I had emailed his mother since we've been close for years and told her what was going on and that my mother was planning on filing a restraining order. I told her if she could talk to him and ease the tension and see if he could back off, I would talk to my mom to convince her not to take action. The mother asked me to come over and talk, but when my mom found out she told me it wasn't a good idea to go over there. i communicated with the boy's mother and told her my mom wouldnt allow me to go over there. The subject was dropped and I didnt see him around anymore. Then, when I did see the boy the next few times, he continued to call me names embarassing me in front of everybody outside and i stayed quiet so he wouldn't hit me in front of them. (thinking back to the threat he sent). I emailed the mother again and told her that he continued to bully me and that i would have to file the report. She replied that I was threatening her child at that point and she knew alot about me and she would be telling all of my business. Her words were, "your whole life story will be on the 10 o clock news". What actions should i take to resolve this issue?

Your best way to eliminate your problems is avoid the bully.
You should avoid any contact and communications with his mother.
He's an adult.
You're not.
If you feel threatened, have your mother call "911" and report his actions to the police.
If you do not avoid him, this will only get worse.
Stop listening to his nonsense.
