I purchased a vehicle from this shady dealer basically out of desperation after my 08 nissans transmission blew with no money to fix it. They were willing to give me 2k for it and no money down
Seemed like a steal for the vehicle I got it was an 04 but low mileage ..now I understand why... I had the vehicle less than 3 months but ended up a couple weeks late on a payment I called to try and work out an arrangment with them and no deal they demanding I pay the balance that day or they would repo the vehicle. I get that even if I wasn't that late on the payment, their agressive repo tactics are legal since I did default on the loan technically if only by a couple of weeks. What I have an issue with is they came and got the vehicle from a friends house that they had zero knowledge of. When I asked how the heck they knew where I was the repo man pointed out the gps tracker beneath the vehicle that I had zero knowledge of. Is this legal? Seems like a violation of privacy to me but I could be wrong.

Perfectly legal. It is so they can find the vehicle to repo when dead beats miss their payments. Otherwise, they get to play Hide the Honda for a car only worth a few grand.

Hide the Honda, that made me chortle and guffaw. LOL

It's not an invasion of privacy. They don't care where you spend your time, they're tracking the car.
