I live in denver colorado, I am right now living in an apartment place ( rental ) , I just received a writen note from the management office saying that some free weights from the fitness center have been stolen , and that they expect they to be returned from whoever was the responsible within 24 hours otherwise they are going to inspect every single apartment looking for them. Is that legal? What areas of my apartment they can go through ? I mean the can open my closet ,look my underwear drawers and look into my staff? I dont care if they want to enter but i think is abusive that withouth a police warrant they enter to every apartment of this complex looking just for a pair of weights.
