My marriage ended in divorce 4 months ago. Ex-wife filed for divorce and requested Court to have her last name changed to her maiden name. Two weeks after divorce was final she purchases house under her legal name (maiden name). Three months later she marries under my last name (listed in marriage license). Is her marriage valid or just taking a dig at me? BTW, haven not seen her or communicate with her for the last 8 months.

The name a person chooses to use is okay as long as they have no intent to defraud.

Her legal name could be Molly Mouse. She could use Rose Rat on a marriage license. As long as she wasn't defrauding anyone, and was not married, the name used is not a crime.

However, in Texas, you can't remarry before the 31St day after the divorce decree is issued unless the judge waives the cooling off period.

It would appear her marriage is valid.
