Hello all - I'm new to this but am excited to see if this helps.
Two weeks ago, I took my car in for repairs and was told I had total engine failure. It took a week, but I had the engine replaced (for over 2k). I picked up my car from the dealer one week ago yesterday. So. Yesterday on my drive home, my car started making funny noises then started acting really bad so I pulled over and called for a tow to the garage/dealer (which btw I had to pay out of pocket). This morning the service dept called me to inform me that my (new) engine had failed because something they installed came loose and ruined it. They told me I had to buy a brand new engine. Is this right? Should I have to fork over another 2k+? wouldn't this be THEIR responsibility. Please, any advice you have would be helpful!
