Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Is this an arrest or a conviction?

When I was 16, I was apprehended for shoplifting and had to go to a juvenile hearing board. My case was dismissed as long as I continued doing community service and counseling. I did not go to an actual court of law, but this was at a military base. When I fill out applications and such, what do I say regarding "have you ever been convicted, adjudicated, or entered into a diversion agreement with legal authorities?"

It sounds like you were part of a young offenders program. Since word "dismissed is mentioned in your post. I will assume there is no conviction. Your best though contacting this board to see disposotion of case
