I do not know if this considered harrassment? I work at a feed mill co-operative. Well today a customer came in to speak to our supervisor and asked for for him. We directed her to our superviser who was at his work station. She was very hesitant about walking back to the work station because of her clothes. A co-worker a mine went back to inform our supervisor that a customer was there to speak to him. He came back and said he informed the supervisor and the customer was standing there watching the supervisor steadily working and making no attempt to speak with the customer. She was very upset for waiting so I took her order down. I didnt think this was a problem because non-employese are not allowed back in the feed mill area just like the public are not allowed back in the car shop while there cars are being worked on. Well after I took the order my supervisor was only a few feet away from us. He clearly heard me saying my supervisor is coming this way would u like to speak with him and she replied no and walked away angrily because of the wait. I went to my supervisor and told him the feed order. Immediately he was lashing out angrily and talking to me with a deep tone. He was making statements claiming customers come to him not the other way around and it was not my job to take in feed orders when he's there. While he was yelling at me he told me he knew the whole time that person was a customer, he knew she asked for him but he was waiting for her to walk back in the mill and speak to him. I replied to him I dont understand becuase we just had a meeting stating the public is not allowed back in the work station. Again he screamed at me and then took his finger and stuck it in my face yelling at me since you took the feed order you will make the feed order. Did he have any right to lash out at me and stick his finger in my face due to the fact that customers are not even allowed in the work area and also being aware that a customer wanted to speak with him????
