This all started 5/1/08, thats when my grandfather asked if I wanted to start my own business in Denver Colorado and told my he would help. The first thing he had me do is a file a trade name for the company. Without my knowing, he used the trade name to put a add in the phone book in my name I never signed anything, he signed my name! I moved up to Denver to run this business and it has failed. I tried to pay the bill for the phone book but only could send in a couple of payments before I went under and now I'm going back to work and I'm stuck with this bill I never authorized what can I do?
Is there some paperwork I can file so I dont get sued?

I don't understand much of this - what benefit would you derive if your father took out an ad in the yellow pages for your business? You can say that it was unauthorized if your father is on record but did you notify them as soon as you found out? If not, then you really have little excuse after deriving the benefit of the advertisement and "ratifying" the listing after you saw it and did nothing.
