A year and a half ago I got into an argument with a college staff member at my college apartment. At the time I lived on campus and I was renting an apartment from the college; my roommate was the staff members' girlfriend. My roommate was also a student at the college. The situation happened when I was having a discussion with my roommate and the staff member interrupted us. I got upset by the interruption, and I responded with a smart remark, and the staff member than said I could choose to deal with the issue man-to- man with him. When the staff member asked me work the situation out with him that way I told him to get out of our apartment or I would call the campus police, and the staff member wouldn't leave. Before the police showed up the staff member insulted me and wouldn't leave me alone. When the campus police showed up the said we just where arguing and said the staff member wasn't acting threatening to me. The staff member was supposedly banned from our apartment by the campus housing office but till continued to show up with my roommate when they thought I wasn't home.
In the months that followed the staff member would stare at me when he saw me on campus and once when we where in the elevator together he made a show of saying hi to me by name.
Would this situation considered harassment? I don't know whether to let the situation drop.
