im 16 years old and i was going to send my 16 year old boyfriend, who i have been dating for over a year, pictures of my self. i have heard that this is dangerous but i trust him. i just wanted to know if it was illegal in canada. so that we are both protected if i do decide to do so in the future. it would really be a help.

If they are nude photos, one or both of you could get in trouble.
Best bet would be not to do it. Oh, and don't bet they won't end up on the internet ... just how do you think these pervs manage to get these photos anyway? The last solicitation case I worked involved a guy in his 30s pretending to be a 16 year old on MySpace ... woops! He got lots of nifty teen photos! And, eventually, a visit from the feds.
