Issues @ home, need advice a.s.a.p

I am married & have 2 kids w/my husband; expecting a 3rd. Over the past couple of months, I have been going through some very harsh emotional stress caused by my husband. No physical abuse, just verbal/emotional abuse. He is the only person I have to look up to in the state of TN unfortunately. All of my relatives live in Chicago. I am so ready to pack up our clothes (mine & my kids) & drive to chicago for some time. The only thing holding me back is that he threatened me by telling me that he would go to the police & say he did not give me permission to take the kids out of state. I do not want to get in any kind of trouble. I need to know if there is such a law that would prohibit me from taking our kids out of state. He knows exactly where we will be staying, where my parents live, their phone#'s, & everything. I have put up with so much throughout the years & feel we both need some time to ourselves. I can not continue to live under the same roof with him, especially being 4 months pregnant.
 
Currently there is nothing preventing you from taking the kids out of state.

However, if you do leave Dad can march right down to court, file for divorce and request the children are returned to him immediately; he would generally be successful.

How long would you be in Chicago?

How old are your two BORN children? How long have you lived in Chi.
