I briefly worked and trained for a sales job, while working there they offered free accessible clothing with no terms terms and conditions. Many of us, including myself frequently acquired these clothing articles with no harassment or contest. Before walking out on the job I took one more item. I left the state to do some volunteering, returned home to be arrested and have an upcoming larceny case. I'm wondering if there's a chance of closing closing the case with a not guilty plea, if i should get a lawyer, or how to get the state to appoint me a lawyer. The only thing I've got so far is a testimonial from a former co-worker.

You appear as directed, plead not guilty, ask the court to appoint a public defender.
Whatever you do, stop blabbing about this from this point forward, no matter what you may have said yesterday, last week, last month, STOP blabbing about this and speak only about it to your lawyer.

Rushing things will only harm you, so slow your roll, big boss, slow your roll.
