My sister and I live in Tennessee. My mom died here in my home at 84 after a sickness- my sister took care of her. She has a trust for her property in Florida. My sister has joint bank account with mom. After mom died sister transferred the bank account over to her name only. I want access to this bank account. Can I do that? Can I get those funds? What is my legal recourse?

I suggest you discuss the situation with a lawyer.
More than likely, as joint account holders, your sister was on a joint account with rights of survivorship going to the one outliving the other. It might not have been that way, so if you want to know for sure, ask a lawyer in your state. He or she can get the correct answer for you, and let you know if mom's estate should have been probated, not confiscated. Good luck.
